Karen Blanchard experienced childhood in London where little, hole-in-the-wall boutiques flourish. When she crossed the lake to New York City a couple of years prior, the stylesetter had no clue where to discover the minimal known stores with elusive diamonds that she knew and cherished in the place where she grew up. So she set out determined to reveal concealed fortunes, and what drove her to the best finds was asking polished similar young ladies where they discovered their most loved pieces. Whenever she detected a fierce pair of shoes or an especially covetable gown, she didn't hesitate to ask the owner, "Where did you get that?" And soon, a site was born.
